Another dream: Children act in Chinese literature classics

"A child should behave like a child, rather than speaking like an adult," a netizen named Guo commented.

Some doubted the young performers could understand the characters and even the essence of the work they played.

However, the original book The Dream of the Red Chamber begins the story when the main characters are still in their childhood and teenage years. The latest TV drama played by these young children is not totally unfaithful to the original work.
