Should using phone while crossing the road be banned?

Yes, ban it for people walking too; those who cannot take their minds off their phones should be obligated to step into a special area created just for this purpose, like a bus bay. Let's see if the cities have enough money to redesign their public walking spaces in such a way. Or maybe there should be walking lanes, one for the brisk walkers, one for the slow ones and those whose eyes stay glued to electronic devices... But remember: we will need at least two lanes in both directions.
