Gold wine vessels on display at an exhibition in Ningbo Museum in East China's Ningbo city, Zhejiang province on Jan 22, 2018. The exhibition, titled
Gold and Jade from Ming Dynasty - Treasures of the Era of Zheng He, features a fine collection of ancient antiques from the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644). The relics, some of which were unearthed from tomb of Prince Zhu Zhanji (1411-1441), ninth son of Emperor Zhu Gaochi (1378-1425) of the Ming Dynasty, demonstrate the prosperity of the early Ming Dynasty as well as trade achievements of great Chinese navigator Zheng He (1371-1435), who led seven voyages to the Indian Ocean from 1405 to 1433 and promoted trade between China and more than 30 countries in Asia and Africa. The exhibition will run until April 16. [Photo/IC]
