Editor's note: It has been 10 years since the magnitude 8.0 earthquake hit Wenchuan county, Sichuan province, in 2008. The catastrophe left more than 8,000 families without their only child. A pregnancy assistance program, launched for families who lost their children in the quake, has helped women give birth to more than 3,500 healthy babies in Sichuan province over the past 10 years. The babies are now growing up, easing the pain of the bereaved parents and bring new hope to their lives. Here we have selected some moving moments from those "reborn" families.
