Guangdong exhibit highlights sea trade on ancient Silk Road

Items on display include wood and metal utensils and porcelain wares excavated from shipwrecks in East Asian waters by archeologists from China and South Korea. They are selected from 11 major museums and cultural organizations from the two countries. The exhibition is titled Asian Mediterranean - The Ceramic Trade in East Asia During the 13th and 14th Centuries, and runs through Aug 27. [Photo/VCG]
