Madame Tussauds Beijing recently unveiled a waxwork replica of Hong Kong singer-actor William Chan, dressed in his onstage persona of a black-clad warrior sporting silver armor.

Chan's figure was revealed in the music section of the museum located in the capital's historical Qianmen Street, together with waxwork figures of many other famous singers.

Starting out as a singer, Chan switched to acting and gained fame for his roles in several recent Chinese TV dramas, including Swords of Legends. He also performed in CCTV's Spring Festival galas in 2017 and 2018.

Chan said the waxwork figure bore a close resemblance to him, especially his facial expressions and muscles.
