Chai Zhanzhu, the representative inheritor of Dangyangyu kiln Jiao Tai pottery firing, "weaves" feather patterns into the clay at Dangyangyu village of Xiuwu county in Jiaozuo, Central China's Henan province, Aug 27, 2018. The Dangyangyu kiln Jiao Tai pottery firing is a handicraft that was listed as a national intangible cultural heritage in 2014. The Jiao Tai pottery is made by blending clays of differing colours together, creating distinctive veined or mottled patterns. The handicraft is therefore recognized as "weaving patterns into the clay". [Photo/Xinhua]
