On Sept 1 and 2, new students were able to scan a QR code, and select one of six "shared" seniors for free assistance including help with their luggage, campus tours, as well as help in both registering and settling in their dorms.

"By adopting the 'scan-to-go' model in the spirit of the 'sharing concept' that new students may enjoy, we decided to use this innovative approach to welcome the freshmen. It is very meaningful as we not only help the newcomers, but also portray a good image as seniors," said Wang Yucheng, a "shared" senior involved in the welcoming program.
