Photo exhibitions in celebration of the enhanced people-to-people communication in countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative have been held at Chinese embassies, cultural centers and institutions in participating countries to mark the fifth anniversary of the initiative, proposed by President Xi Jinping in 2013.

Each exhibition featured some 60 photos that capture major cultural activities and people-to-people exchanges over the past five years.
