Dulwich College Beijing, which opened in 2005, considers art as one of the pillars of its educational aims. More than 1,500 students of the college from over 40 countries take part in music education from 12 months to 18 years old. By using music as the universal language, student musicians aim to inspire other young people in the community.

2018 marks Leonard Bernstein's 100th birth anniversary, and maintaining Bernstein's legacy of engaging young people in classical music seemed like a great way to say happy birthday to the maestro.
