Expo to bring new momentum
At the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation in May of last year, President Xi Jinping announced the China International Import Expo, or CIIE, to be held starting in 2018.
This announcement marked a significant step forward in support of the trade liberalization and economic cooperation that would continue to open China to the world.
The expo invites countries and regions from all over the world to strengthen economic cooperation and trade, to promote the economic growth in order to make the world economy more open.
With their participation, China would like to work with all countries, regions and international organizations to make CIIE a world-class expo, providing new channels to strengthen cooperation and promote common prosperity in economics and trade.
