After two years of renovation, the refurbished La Piscine Museum reopened on Oct 20.

Located in Roubaix, a city in the post-industrial belt of northern France, La Piscine Museum, formally known as La Piscine Museum of Art and Industry, was undergoing renovation for 18 months and was shut down for the past six months as it set out to offer a richer experience and a wider range of services.

The extension gives the museum over 2,000 square meters of additional space. And the new areas will focus more on the history of Roubaix, sculptures, the "Groupe de Roubaix" artists and the younger public.
