State Council investigators vow thorough probe into deadly blast

As so far:

-- President Xi Jinping urges all-out rescue efforts.

-- State Council probe found the chemical plant responsible had been punished and fined multiple times before the blast.

-- 64 people are dead; a total of 604 injured still receiving medical care in the hospital, including 19 in critical condition and 98 seriously wounded.

-- The injured are being treated at 16 hospitals and 59 people have been discharged.

--6 rounds of search and rescue missions have been launched, the search area has been expanded from 1.1 square kilometers to 2.

-- UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres expresses deep grief and sends condolences to the victims through the UN's Sina Weibo account.

-- More than 3,000 workers and around 1,000 residents have been relocated to safe places.

-- Rivers outside the chemical industrial park were not polluted after the incident.
