Chinese shares rebound on Tuesday

Chinese shares witnessed a sharp surge on Tuesday, with the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index edging up 2.39 percent, closing at 3,253.60.
The Shenzhen Component Index picked up 2.33 percent, closing at 10,287.64.
The ChiNext Index, China's NASDAQ-style board of growth enterprises, rose 1.84 percent to 1,697.53 points.
