Li Yugang set for global tour with dance drama

Chinese singer Li Yugang, who is known for his cross-dressing performances, wrapped up six performances of his dance drama, Lady Zhaojun, at Tianqiao Performing Arts Center in Beijing recently, and is ready to launch an international tour, covering the United States, Canada and countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative, including Thailand's Bangkok's 21st International Festival of Dance & Music on October 5 and 6.

The show is about Wang Zhaojun, an ancient Chinese beauty from the Han Dynasty (206 BC-AD 220), and the dance drama is part of the ongoing 19th Meet in Beijing Arts Festival, the capital's largest annual celebration of dance, music, drama and art.
