Vice-President Wang Qishan will visit Pakistan, the Netherlands and Germany from Sunday to June 2, Foreign Ministry spokesman Lu Kang said.
During his Pakistan trip, Wang will meet with Pakistani President Arif Alvi, and hold talks with Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan. Both sides will exchange views on bilateral relations and international and regional issues.
Wang's visit to Pakistan will further deepen high-level exchanges between the two countries, consolidate their friendship and mutual trust, help promote the construction of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor and pragmatic cooperation in various fields, and enhance people-to-people exchanges, Lu said.
It will also inject new momentum into further developing the two countries' all-weather strategic cooperation and forging a closer community with a shared future between them.
