The soft glow of artificial light brightens a corner of an ice cave in Xiangning county, North China’s Shanxi province, producing a calming palette of creamy yellow and icy blue on its frozen surfaces, on July 5, 2019. The ice cave cluster here is in a permanent icy state all year long. The No 1 ice cave, which is the only one open to public, is over 100 meters long and 12 meters wide, with an approximate height of 15 meters. The ice stalagmites and icicles help create a dream-like scene when illuminated.[Photo/Xinhua]
