FM Wang Yi to visit DPRK

State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi will visit the Democratic People's Republic of Korea from Sept 2 to 4 at the invitation of the DPRK Foreign Minister Ri Yong-ho.

In late June, President Xi Jinping paid a state visit to the DPRK at the invitation of the DPRK top leader Kim Jong-un. During his two-day visit, Xi and Kim agreed to work together to create a bright future of inter-party and inter-state relations at a new starting point in history.

This year marks the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between the two countries.
