It might be enough for some to stay in another country for a few months to feel its exoticism, but for porcelain artist Philip Reed, who has lived in China for over 22 years, that's simply too short.

Born in England Reed later became a Canadian citizen and decided to move to a small town in China called Jingdezhen because of its long association with porcelain.

Great changes have taken place in this city and many foreign cultural elements have been introduced in the past 20 years, but what remains unchanged is the original charm of porcelain which the city has inherited and maintained for later generations.

Watch this video, the third in our series New China at 70, to discover the beauty of porcelain and the city.
