A woman dressed in traditional Chinese costume plays a guzheng, or Chinese zither, on Wednesday  at China-EU Sports Day held at the Schuman Roundabout in Brussels.

After the music, they moved to the next stand, where they had a hands-on experience with traditional Chinese woodblock engraving and printing. Monochromatic woodblock printing was invented in China about 1,200 years ago.

"It is very interesting," Kowalski said.

Having never visited China, the teenager said he wants to visit the country to learn about its interesting culture.

Unlike Kowalski, Mei Rui, a British woman who is known for her Chinese name, lived in China for 19 years before moving to Brussels a year ago.
