Brazilian president to visit China

Brazilian President Jair Messias Bolsonaro will pay a state visit to China from Oct 24 to 26.

Chinese State Councilor and Minister of National Defense Wei Fenghe paid a four-day visit to Brazil in September, where he attended the 197th anniversary celebrations of Brazil's independence.

Bolsonaro held talks with Wei, and said he was looking forward to visiting China in October.

During the talks, China and Brazil agreed to advance bilateral ties and strengthen cooperation in various fields.
