Ethnic dance musical "Dynamic Yunnan," choreographed and performed by famous Chinese dancer Yang Liping, will be staged at the National Center for the Performing Arts (NCPA) in Beijing in January 2020, according to the NCPA website.

The original musical showcases different types of dances showing the features of ethnic minorities in Yunnan Province, southwest China, which is known for its picturesque scenery and rich ethnic cultures.

The dances are performed by scores of talented ethnic villagers in Yunnan. The hand-made costumes worn by dancers in the show are collected from ethnic villages.

Since its debut in 2003, the show has been staged more than 3,000 times in 48 Chinese cities and many overseas countries and regions, including Japan, the United States and Brazil.
