Among his customers are executives and engineers from joint ventures, teachers from international schools, and international students of universities.

"My project in the near future is to work with a Chinese school and propose a new vision of how to provide advice for Chinese customers with different shaped faces," Yann said.

Yann had worked and traveled in many European and Asian countries before he first arrived in China in 2006. When a friend told him that Wuhan is a city with many foreigners, he came there in 2015.

Yann said here in Wuhan, he felt delighted with social security and order.

"It is safe in both the city and the countryside, day and night. China is much safer than in many countries, which is an important reason for my long stay in Wuhan," he said.

Wu Yunru in Beijing contributed to the story.
