Great wall of snow ready for grand opening in Jilin

The construction of the main snow sculpture shaped like the Great Wall has been completed at Jingyue Snow World, an attraction at the Jingyuetan National Forest Park in Changchun, capital of Northeast China's Jilin province.

Named Peace and Prosperity, the 107-meter-long, 25-meter-wide, and 20-meter-high snow sculpture is built to show the historical development of China and its bright prospect.

Jingyue Snow World, covering 620,000 square meters, is expected to officially open to the public in January. A total of 120,000 cubic meters of snow is used to build all snow sculptures at the site.
