17. Treasured items of traditional musical instruments brings 172 sets of ancient Chinese musical instruments, mostly unearthed in Central China's Henan province, to viewers. Traditional Chinese musical instruments trace their roots back several thousand years. Each producing a different and unique sound and effect, these instruments not only entertain but also play a key role in traditional Chinese culture.

Highlighted exhibits include a clay xun (wind instrument), a Tang Dynasty tri-color clay pillow featuring two musicians in performance, and the Jia Lake bone flute, the oldest orchestral instrument in China, dating back 7,800 to 9,000 years.
