Woman has parking lot birth after ambulance cruises past

chinadaily.com.cn | Updated: 2020-04-24 00:27

A woman from Hampshire, England, gave birth to her baby in a car outside a supermarket after a passing ambulance mistook her husband's gesturing for cheering.

Hannah Howells and her husband, Andy, delivered their baby, Wilf, after the driver of a passing ambulance assumed Andy was showing his support for the NHS, instead of trying to flag down some help.

The same ambulance returned later to take the family to the hospital for a check-up.
