Shanghai Lavender Festival begins

The 4th Shanghai Lavender Festival kicked off at the Shanghai International Resort in Pudong New Area on May 19.

This was the first time that the park, which features more than 150,000 square meters of lavender, opened a camping site for visitors to pitch tents.

To ensure public safety during the epidemic period, the festival is restricting visitor numbers to 12,000 every day. All visitors must also make reservations before going to the park.

Events including the Olympic Athletes Week, Han Fu Experience Week and South France Style Week will be held at the park's 20,000-square-meter lawn.
