A quick look at Beijing's Dragon Boat Festival travel policies

Transport restrictions:

Highways

* National highway access during this year's Dragon Boat Festival holiday is not free.

* People commuting from Beijing and Hebei province can swipe their ID cards to get in and out of Beijing.

* Others leaving Beijing need to provide a negative nucleic acid test report conducted within seven days.

* All taxi and car-hailing services are temporarily suspended from entering or leaving Beijing and its neighboring regions.

Railways

* All passengers are required to provide a negative nucleic acid test report within seven days, or else they will not be allowed to board and leave.

Civil aviation

Those leaving Beijing must meet the following three conditions:

* Comply with the epidemic prevention and control requirements of the destination government. 

* Health status shows "no sign of abnormality" in Beijing's health-checking mini-app.

* Have a negative nucleic acid test report within seven days.

Ticket changes and refunds:

* Tickets for flights and trains in and out of Beijing bought before midnight of June 16 can be changed or refunded free of charge.
