Japanese brand LOFT launches store in Shanghai

According to big data service platform Dataquest, the number of first stores of brands launched in Shanghai was 259 in the second quarter of this year.

A total of 320 first stores, including 30 flagship concept stores, were opened in Shanghai in the first half of this year, 17.5 percent of which were overseas brands.

Besides LOFT, Ikea, the Sweden-based world-leading home furnishings retailer, also opened its first Ikea City in central Shanghai on July 23.
