After nearly a decade of efforts to restore the environmental balance of Erdos Wetland in North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, over 40 species of birds have now returned to nest in the area. The Erdos Wetland, neighboring the Kubuqi and Maowusu deserts, was listed as one of the wetlands of international importance in 2002. [Photo/Xinhua]
