State Council appoints, removes officials

BEIJING - The State Council, China's cabinet, announced the appointment and removal of officials Monday.

Deng Li was appointed assistant minister of foreign affairs.

Chen Xiaodong was removed from the post of assistant minister of foreign affairs.
