The Changzhi authorities should be applauded for trying their best to stop myopia. Too much time spent sedentarily looking at computer and laptop screens while munching junk food has resulted in burned young corneas. Parents are also to blame for not keeping their charges in check and for overly doting them until they become fat. The Changzhi authorities should be awarded for implementing the new ruling in order to take advantage of the only one thing which the students and their parents will fear - the loss of school grades. It's a wake-up call long overdue.
