Book delivers delicious stories written by veteran food editor

A new book named Zhuanshiliuhen, a collection of 83-year-old food editor Liu Dahua's articles about food companies and chefs in China, was released in Beijing on Oct 18.

 

Published by China Light Industry Press, the book has 126 articles written by Liu, who has been reporting on the food industry for over 30 years.

 

The book includes stories about both time-honored catering companies and new restaurant chains, as well as renowned chefs.

 

Liu Yida, a Beijing folk writer, said Liu Dahua has witnessed and recorded the development of catering industry in China for the past three decades. "It's definitely valuable for catering practitioners," Liu Yida said.
