As physical education is not one of subjects for students to be tested during the national college entrance exam, polices vary across the cities but generally the physical education accounts for very few marks in exam from primary school to high school. So most schools and students still ignore the importance of physical education. It is often the case that PE is often sacrificed before exams. The time allocated for physical education classes is often used for students to take other so-called important classes, especially for the senior students in high schools. As we know that proper sports activity and exercise can make us more energetic and healthier physically and mentally. We should raise our awareness of importance of physical education. Sports should hold a larger share of points a student needs to reach a higher level and schools should allocate enough time for students to take PE class.
