Snow blanketed the Qingdongling tombs after hours of snowfall in Zunhua, Hebei province, over the weekend, making for some picturesque views.

Located about 120 kilometers northeast of Beijing, Qingdongling — the eastern imperial tombs of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) — was listed as a world heritage site by UNESCO in 2000.

It is one of the largest royal tomb complexes in China. Covering about 80 square kilometers, the complex holds the remains of 161 royal family members, including emperors, empresses, imperial concubines and princes.
