Kite skiers turn out in Harbin despite extreme cold

Despite the extreme cold and strong winds on the frozen Songhua River in Harbin, Heilongjiang province, more than 30 kite skiing enthusiasts gave a performance on Tuesday, which was also beginning of the 23rd solar term Minor Cold.
Even at noon, the temperature was as low as – 25 C, but the combination of colorful kites and speedy skiing still attracted residents and photographers to capture the moments.
