Sandstorm sweeps over NW China's Lanzhou

Lanzhou, capital city of Northwest China's Gansu province, was enveloped in sand and dust on Tuesday. According to the city's Meteorological Observatory, from Sunday night to Tuesday Lanzhou was affected by external sand and dust, with its air polluted at a moderate level or above, and at times heavily polluted.
