Huichang, then and now

Surrounded by mountains, Huichang county in East China's Jiangxi provicne had been on the list of national-level poverty-stricken counties since 1986. Due to the massive poverty relief campaign started in 2012 nationwide, the county succeeded in shaking off poverty in April 2019.
