China's poverty reduction contributes to global development

China's State Council Information Office on April 6 issued a white paper, "Poverty Alleviation: China's Experience and Contribution". China's eradication of extreme poverty is a giant task that has an important role in the world's development，said Carlos Aquino, director of the Center of Asia Studies at the National University of San Marcos in Lima, Peru.

Aquino pointed out that another task for China is to improve the quality of development and increase investment in production transformation and education. He said China's experience of development can be lessons for Latin American countries.
