A special graduation ceremony was held on July 10 by the Beijing University of Science and Technology for former students who graduated from the university last year but failed to have a celebration due to the raging COVID-19 pandemic.

More than 2,000 alumni who graduated last year went back to their alma mater in Beijing to attend the ceremony.

Yang Renshu, president of the university, expressed best wishes to the graduates. He said he hopes the graduates could retain a restless, youthful spirit in pursuit of new horizons on their career paths, while staying calm and peaceful when facing individual gains and losses and keep a strong passion in their lives.
