A documentary focusing on the achievements of young generations working for the improvement of the country's national defense construction, fire hazard control and prevention, healthcare, social services and other fields aired online this month.

The documentary, titled We Are Young, is produced by the video-streaming platform Mango TV. It tells the stories of young members of the Communist Party of China, including firefighters in Liangshan Yi autonomous prefecture, Sichuan province, engineers who are constructing railways running through Taklimakan Desert in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region and medical workers from the Zhongnan Hospital of Wuhan University who fought at the front line against the COVID-19 pandemic.

In one episode, students from Hunan University are shown going to a remote village named Baishuidong in Hunan province's Shaoyang where the architecture majors have helped villagers restore their houses and the arts students have designed the packs of local teas to better promote the agricultural produce.

The documentary eulogizes the spirit of the age by portraying groups of young people who have devoted to building the country and improving people's well-being.
