Huawei Technologies Co on Friday unveiled 11 innovative scenario-based solutions for customers in the public services, transportation, finance, energy and manufacturing sectors.

The move is part of Huawei's broader push to help accelerate digital transformation in traditional industries. The Shenzhen-based company aims to meet customer requirements at different stages of digital transformation, address challenges, seize new opportunities for transformation, and create value for the industry.

Peng Zhongyang, Huawei's board member and president of its enterprise business group, said "Huawei will continue to dive into digital — focusing on scenarios, models and partners — to help customers succeed in their digital transformation journey. We integrate information communications technologies with real-life scenarios and processes, and develop a new model of consulting, integration and operational support."

Huawei's enterprise business group recorded 42.9 billion yuan ($6.64 billion) in revenue in the first half of 2021, marking a year-on-year increase of 18 percent.

Currently, Huawei has about 1,500 people involved in the development of scenario-based solutions. In the next three years, the company aims to enlarge the team to 2,500 people.

Over the next five years, Huawei plans to release more than 300 tailored service solutions, establish more than 200 service standards, and develop over 800 service solution partners.

Founded in 2019, the China Oil & Gas Pipeline Network Corporation (PipeChina) has worked with Huawei on its digital transformation journey since its establishment and strives to excel through digitalization.

Liu Zhongyun, vice-general manager of PipeChina, said: "Digital transformation is a complex, systematic and long-term process. Digital platforms and data are the key to the digitalization of PipeChina, and also the foundation of diving into digital. PipeChina will continue to work with Huawei on digital transformation to achieve success based on shared resources, standardized architecture, converged data, capability as a service and tailored applications."

Huawei said it will also comprehensively upgrade the partner system to ensure shared success and its continued operation as a sound foundation for the development of competency partners.
