Man inspired to volunteer for river patrols

Inspired by an incident in which his son's life was saved by people at a swimming pool, Wang Yongheng, 56, volunteered to patrol the Xiangjiang River in Zhuzhou, Hunan province, to prevent drownings.

The 56-year-old has saved more than 30 people over the past 10 years.
