A1 China has been an attractive destination for foreign direct investment. The Chinese government continues to take measures to improve the business environment. For example, following its opening-up agenda, since Jan 1, foreign investors' equity caps in passenger vehicle manufacturers have also been removed.

We believe the two sessions discuss important policies to stabilize the economy and further strengthen high-quality development, and look forward to the exciting outcomes that support sustainable transformation in the transportation and infrastructure industry.

A2 We believe China will continue to pursue a high-quality development model and a greener, more balanced and innovation-driven economy. This transformation will benefit both China and the world.

We have also set ambitious targets, including having a net-zero value chain by 2040. We have been working together with our partners to develop sustainable transportation and infrastructure solutions for the future.

A3 Last year was fruitful for Volvo Group in China. Thanks to China's opening-up of its automotive industry, we achieved a major milestone-Volvo Trucks signed an agreement for the acquisition of a local production facility in Shanxi province, which was made possible by the removal of foreign investors' equity caps in commercial vehicle manufacturers.

We also showcased our highly efficient and sustainable transport and infrastructure solutions for our Chinese customers at both the third and fourth CIIEs, and the total value of the signed contract reached 670 million yuan ($106 million).

A4 China's economy has proven to be resilient under the dual-circulation pattern. We work continuously to maintain and improve an effective, safe and secure value chain globally, regionally and locally, catering to local needs. We believe our relations with our customers and suppliers will certainly go further and deeper as we expand our business here in China.

A5 In recent years, we have relocated our Asian headquarters of multiple business function units to China. We remain positive on the prospects of the Chinese heavy-duty truck market and are now fully dedicated to the establishment of our first fully owned Volvo Truck production facility in China, which will bring many benefits to the local community-notably high-quality jobs at the factory and tax revenue, and it will also be a great example of foreign investment in Shanxi province.

Our investment is based on our belief that China, as the world's second-biggest economy, will continue its high-quality opening-up policies that continue to present global companies like us with more opportunities.
