More than 50 Chionanthus trees, commonly known as fringe trees, are in full bloom at the foot of Queshan Mountain in Qingzhou, a county-level city of Weifang, Shandong province. They are known for their delicate, white and fragrant flowers.
Most of the trees were planted during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) according to local historical records, with the oldest having been there over 1,000 years.
