Zepan village continues its over 600-year-old legacy

Residents in Zepan village, Xingtai, North China's Hebei province have been busy planting lotus roots since the beginning of this month.

The village in Longyao county boasts a history of more than 600 years for growing lotus roots.

At present, it has over 33 hectares of land converted into ponds for the growth of lotus roots.
