6.2-magnitude quake hits 54 km NE of Bandar-e Lengeh, Iran: USGS

NEW YORK -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.2 jolted 54 km NE of Bandar-e Lengeh, Iran at 23:25:15 GMT on Friday, the US Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 26.8884 degrees north latitude and 55.2855 degrees east longitude.
