Ambassador sees broad prospects for China-Saudi Arabia cooperation

Saudi Arabia looks to work with China to tap into the potential for cooperation between the two countries, facilitating concrete progress in bilateral relations, the ambassador of Saudi Arabia to China said Thursday.

Abdulrahman Ahmed. Alharbi lauded the friendship and upgraded relationship with China at a reception celebrating the 92nd anniversary of the National Day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

China and Saudi Arabia are comprehensive strategic partners. Trade between the two nations based on Chinese statistics has reached $65 billion during the first seven months this year, up by almost 40 percent year-on-year, the ambassador said.
