One hundred years ago, two American youths came to China. They met, fell in love, married, and started a family in Suzhou.

One hundred years later, their granddaughter Ellen has returned to Suzhou, China to continue her family's tradition of devoting oneself to bridging the two countries through respectful service and teaching.
