China, Pakistan working for community with shared future

He emphasized that China has always stood by Pakistan in both good and bad times. This is a relationship which is time-tested. It is an all-weather strategic partnership, an iron-clad brotherhood. The two countries have cooperated in many fields including trade and economy, investment, agriculture, financing and, more important, the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor for the benefit of the two peoples.

Haque told China Daily that the Pakistan Day is also a day to express gratitude for the architects of Sino-Pakistani friendship.

President Xi Jinping visited Pakistan in 2015 during which the two countries' relationship was elevated to an all-weather strategic cooperative partnership.

Pakistan's friendship with China is eternal, Haque said, adding that Pakistan stands to work with the people and government of China to take this friendship forward and build a Pakistan-China community with a shared future.
